A spacious double room is available for rent five nights a week in a quiet, beautiful two-bedroom apartment next to the Salthill promenade. This newly renovated apartment is owner-occupied by a friendly working couple aged 25 and 28. The room is fully furnished with a comfortable double bed, large drawers, a wardrobe, temperature-controlled electric radiators, a study desk and a chair. Fresh towels and bed linens are provided for your convenience. High-speed WiFi (500 Mbps) and all bills are included in the rent. The location is ideal, with a bus stop right outside and an underground bike shelter. This offers easy access to the University of Galway (25-minute walk, 7-minute cycle, or 3-minute bus ride) and the city centre (15-minute walk). Free on-street parking is available directly outside the building. The area is very safe and desirable, within a short walk of local amenities, including grocery shops, the Salthill promenade, a beach, restaurants, cafes, a gym and a cinema. We're offering a friendly and welcoming living space in our home for €200 per week, including breakfast, coffee, tea, and dinners. This room is available for 35 weeks, from September to May, for five nights a week (Sunday evening to Friday morning). A 4-week deposit is required, and weekly payments should be made in advance of each week. The rental agreement covers the entire duration, including all holidays. We have a few house rules to ensure a comfortable and respectful living environment. No guests are allowed into the apartment, and we expect everyone to maintain a clean and quiet space. As I work sometimes from home, it is expected that you attend university in person during the day. We kindly ask that you clean up after yourself in shared areas like the kitchen and bathroom. Basic cleanliness is expected, such as wiping down kitchen surfaces, placing dishes in the dishwasher, and leaving the bathroom clean and tidy after use. We value mutual respect and privacy.
